It is very difficult to find a book that explains enough to satisfy a truly curious mind. This appears to be a series of articles that were strung together to eventually make a book. I'd much rather recommend Tattooing A to Z by Huck Spaulding if you want a complete, well informed source of information about tattooing as a starting point to learn more. Neither should be used to try to teach yourself how to tattoo. Only a real apprenticeship in a studio under an experienced tattoo artist will help you establish a career in tattooing. Whomever agrees to train you, make sure they CAN teach, and that they ARE willing to teach, and not just take your money and make you the shop gopher. Do your research. These books are just starting points to get some of the basics under your belt.

Bought this for drawing inspiration. I didn't like it. The drawings in tits book are what laymen think tattoos look like. The skulls are bad, the roses are bad... If someone inked me like the drawings, I'd be pissed.
I bought this for my boyfriend who's a tattoo artist. The book came around the time they said it would, and it's a decent sized book for the price, the only problem is that since it was labeled "Tattoo Bible" I expected it to talk about tattoos in depth and explain them, maybe even talk about tips on how to do them, however it was only pictures. Maybe I was jus overestimating it? Or not fully understanding the purpose. Either way if you're just looking for a bunch of pictures of tattoos this is a great book for you!!
Interesting read
I returned this book. Titling it Tattoo Bible is a little misleading. It is literally a book of pictures. I'm guessing it is for tattoo reference. I was hoping for a description of certain tattoos, maybe some back story on some of the classic images.
Great book and good designs a lot of flash great value for what your getting... There is also an impressive variety a little something for everyone... Impressed and will get the rest.
