This is the best text book to understand critical care. I have newer books but this explains things in a simple way.
This textbook was sooo much easier to read and understand than my teacher was at lecturing. I would not have aced my class if I hadn't read this book (and I didn't pay any attention to her lectures since they were pretty much worthless.....)
I’m currently in my last year of nursing school. I do like this book compared to some of my previous textbooks. The text has clean and clear definitions and textbook segments. Not a bad textbook. Great diagrams!
I'm an RN student in my last semester of nursing school. This book was required by our instructors (I cannot understand why they didn't pick out a better text for us as they have in the past). I have purchased MANY textbooks thus far in the program, but I really dislike this book. There are WAY better textbooks that make the information much more understandable in a better organized format.

Got this for my critical care semester and had to return the first book I received because the pages were falling out of the book after one or two times reading it. I am very careful with my books and after spending $83.00, I would think it would last more than a week. I think they used the same glue that are on post it notes.Second book I got, lasted 3 weeks and is now just starting to fall apart. The sad part is I like the textbook and information.Amazon was great with the exchanges. Very efficient.My issue is with the product which I need for school.Caveat Emptor
